And I just hate to have to tell you; Jake has worked at the Renaissance Faire for the past four or so years of his life as a fighter. But he's one of the few people who work there who really could care less about the culture or enjoying their time. He's only there because he honestly doesn't know what else to do with himself. If he tried harder he could probably find something he enjoyed a little better, but he's made friends with a small group of other people his age who have been working there nearly as long as he has. And he lacks the motivation or confidence to do anything else. At first Jake can come off a little strong and full of himself. Truthfully it's just him compensating and trying to be confident. Usually he's more prone to be a jerk but it's only because he's unhappy with his situation and somewhat stuck. He does in fact have the ability to smile and be nice. |
